User Guide for Evig

Ask your guests to download evig and share the token with them. It’s up to you if you want to choose some of them or all. We highly advice you to delegate two or three people to cover the highlights of the day - getting ready on bride and grooms side, ceremony, entry, etc. That way you don’t get every guest on their phone trying to capture the same clip. What makes these videos so special is the small clips from the guests perspective of the day; being excited, meeting friends and family, maybe sending a short video message with the selfie camera, dancing, etc. This should not be forced but come natural in a real and personal way.

Some technical information:

• No limits of number of devices.

• No limits in number of uploads.

• There is a 120 second time limit per clip. The reason for that is that the intention is not long speeches and deep heartfelt messages - it’s a 2-5 minute highlight reel.

• There is no upload function in the app so every clip needs to be recorded natively in the app.

• We currently do not support Android devices so the app can only be downloaded on iPhones.

• We unfortunately can not give access to raw material afterwards - this is for policy reasons. 

• We estimate 3-4 weeks editing time for your final video.
